All COVID warriors across the globe have put an example to society. They have proved that things can be changed on a mass scale by a single person if the efforts are applied consistently.
Students from different university in our country are involved in producing low-cost ventilators rather than searching for a job in abroad. The high salaried private employee residing in Mumbai and Banglore are distributing meals day and night all across their town rather than planning a trip for their family.
And it is because we realized that our happiness and satisfaction lies moreover in the welfare and well-being of others.
1. Aanchal Narang
When most of the NGOs were supporting labours and daily wage workers by providing them with meals, sex workers, residing in the outskirts of metro cities were still ignored.
Aanchal Narang from Mumbai looked into this and thought that they too have a family but don't have a single penny in their saving for surviving such long nation-wise lockdown.
India is a country where people still don't consider Sex workers like humans, stand with them and thus nobody comes in the frontline to support them.
She took the full responsibility of those workers and their family in Kamathipura, Mumbai and provided them all the COVID 19 essentials along with regular distribution of meals. It was hard to manage thousands of workers from savings, so she raised a fund to support them and encourages the youth of Mumbai, which then came forward to help them.
